Hapstead Farm C.I.C.  is an Alternative Provision (AP) providing children and adults, (who may experience barriers to learning and mental health issues), with the opportunity to take a major role in the activities associated with running a 60-acre mixed biodynamic / organic farm and associated traditional rural skills. The farm is situated on the edge of Dartmoor near Buckfastleigh.

Currently there is a small group of home schooled children attending the farm on Fridays (9am to 2pm), and we are seeking a volunteer to assist with this group (immediate start). The activities are based on the following areas:  Animal Husbandry, rural skills / crafts, and vegetable production. An interest in mixed organic farming, working horses, crafts and experiential learning is essential. This role may well lead to paid employment. DBS check will be required.
