Buckfast Abbey Garden Fayre – further message
I am posting a message from Gabriel in response to my message about the Buckfast Abbey Garden Fayre. Sadly I will be away so can’t take it on but I do agree with her that it is an excellent opportunity for us to reach a wider audience and make connections with the Abbey.

Dear South Devon BD group
Aaron Southgate the head gardener at Buckfast Abbey has an interest in biodynamics and it would be good to cultivate the connections and enable the monks to become more familiar with what biodynamics is about. Therefore it would be lovely to have a stand if possible.

Buckfast Abbey Garden Fayre
We have been contacted by Buckfast Abbey to see if we would like to have a stall at their annual Garden Fayre on Saturday 1st June. Last year Derek organised this but is not able to do so again – at the least it would involve setting up and taking down and having a rota of people to man the stall throughout the day. I am sure Derek would be happy to talk to anyone who thinks they may be interested but they would need to contact Buckfast Abbey themselves. The contact is Aaron Southgate, 01364 645507, asouthgate@buckfast.org.uk
Accommodation needed
One of our members is going to have to leave her home and BD garden of 13 years and is looking for a long term rental of a one bedroom property. If you have anything which sounds possible or know of anything, please could you contact me on bournegoodban@gmail.com
Many thanks
